I'm just sharing the install of a 1/4" drain plug today while doing my 100k oil change as it was so easy to do and I was tired of taking the cover off and using a suction gun to get all the fluid out. Even at 100k mile intervals the oil sure does look nice still, this being the second time I have run 100k. I suppose I should be sampling it to check for shearing but it feels good anyway. I overfilled by one quart through the top cover bolt hole this time in hopes of prolonging the input bearing life, which I hear can run lean during long hot grades towing.
