NV5600 Fluid capicity..came up short

I changed the fluid in my NV5600 today and was only able to get a little over 4 quarts in before it started coming out of the fill hole. Is this normal or should I be concerned? When I was pumping it in I got every drop out of the bottle but there is no way that Redline (MTL) gave me that much extra in every bottle... is there? I searched and found that a few people only got 4. 25 quarts in but I am not sure I even got that much in. TIA

Don't sweat it. Even if you think you got all the old fluid out the transmission always hides some from you. If you were parked on a level surface and filled until it ran out the hole, you're good.

If you only removed the pto bottom bolt and not the cover and cleaned it out your perfectly normal.

Yep, that is what I did. I will add a filter next time and be sure to get all of it. I definitely like the Redline MTL. I can already tell a difference. Thank you for the help. Also, was anyone else's bottom drain bolt lock-tited (blue) on?
