NV5600 is in!!!

Well, we started at around 5pm, and got done with the install around midnight... all I can say from my short stint of a drive so far is WOW!! I already smoked a little gasser phurd boy in his wannabe 250 junk. he thought he was all that, riding my tail, being tall, but I turned that 10 plate to 5x5 and let the good times roll!! so far I like. . I think I am going to hook up the horse trailer later on and see how it walks the hills around here... I would tell anyone who is going to spend $2000 to rebuild their 5 speed to do the conversion like I did. . It is well worth the money!

Keep in mind it's a six speed TRUCK transmission, NOT a six speed vette transmission - treat it right, and it'll do the same for you, but do a lot of speed shifting and drag racing, and you'll be singing a sad song and getting a good look at the INSIDES of that box on a regular basis...

Thought you would be pleased with it. The more you drive it, the better you will like it. Really made a difference in the way mine pulls. I think I have about 8,000 miles on it and it is just loosening up. Pulled a pretty heavy load yesterday. Grossing over 30,000 and it really did well. Glad everything worked out well for you and your first victim was a phord. What did you do to the rear support that you had a problem with? Kenny N4YYX

I contacted Blumenthal, and they realized that they had not sent me all the parts needed, and fixed that... . the only problem I have now, is one of my fast coolers does not work, as my 4" pipe is in the way, and will not allow it to go on the passenger side of the transmission... thats ok, one is better than none!

I think there's a shorter Fastcooler available for the 5600 with 4" exhaust.

I'll probably just sell this other one to my friend who I am trying to corrupt into BOMBing his truck. . I tell him it runs like a slug, and has no balls. . he is getting the hint!

I installed a fast cooler on the LH side and the Eaton Fuller transmission filter from Genos on the RH side, less than 40 bucks sounds like cheap insurance to me

Hi Chris, if your friend doesn't take the cooler I would like to buy it. I run a filter on the right side and would like to put one on the left. Wouldn't buy a pair to get just one- kind of expensive. Let me know if it becomes available and how much. Thanks, Kenny N4YYX
