Where is the best location to install a temp probe on the 5600? Is there a recommended location that will give the most accurate readings? Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

I drilled a hole in the one PTO cover and brazed a pipe plug to it... installed the sender right into the PTO cover...

A set of fast coolers would work nice and have a fill and drain plug also taped for temp sender.

While fast coolers are nice, they don't drop the temp as much as advertised (at least mine didn't)...

That might be true BUT with more capaticy that also helps too. BTW Fast Coolers and tapped hole already was my way too.

I've had 2 FastCoolers and a temp probe on my NV5600 for over 60K miles now, and fo rme at least, my transmission runs ~30* cooler than it did without the FastCoolers installed.
