Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV5600 xmission noise

Getting noise in 5th and 6th gear only, sounds like its(they) are not being lubricated, but ckd and xmission level is good. would appreciate anyone who has comments or has had this problem. tnks

Have you ever changed the fluid? Alot of us are also adding one extra quart of oil to keep the rear of the transmission lubricated.

I originally changed all the fluids at 1000 miles and have change the transmission oil three times since then. There is pleanty of oil as it leaks a little when you open the fill bolt, inspection bolt. I also have one of the TDR manual transmission filters mounted at the PTO pannel and have changed that with each oil change. Tnks for your reply.

Try using Royal Purple Syncromesh just did mine n its quiet as can be... . Aloha Ron
