where is AZ chapter?

On Saturday, August 11th, I will be assisting a NW BOMBer install some new injectors. We will also have a mag-Hytec rear differential cover to install.

If anyone else has a project, let me know. Everyone is welcome to attend to watch, help, heckle, or BS. If you need directions, email me.

Come and prepare for the "Thunder in Spokane"!!:D

Great News....

I will be there with the "better" half ;) . Could you e-mail me your address again. Too cool Rob. Sam

Everybody bring your gas mask -- we'll be installing some older-model DD-3's in my ride, in an effort to reduce the risk of mosquito infestation in my neighborhood. Both SportBike and HVAC warned me about "serious smoke", which I'll soon be pumping into those pesky Seattle convertible drivers that like to look down (up) their nose at big trux. :D

Hopefully, we'll also chase the slow-starting demon from my engine, as well. I think it jumped into my engine when I foolishly opted for the 275 injectors last fall, and has been passing gas (leaking air) into my fuel lines ever since.

Rob, you know me... of course I'll be there. I'll also bring my pressure test gauge. Does your neighbor want to do his fuel plate?

I may have a gauge installation if the gauges get here in time. Tomorrow I will also be recieving a chrome engine kit for the little 12valve.

MikeR... will be nice to see ya again!

I will find out about the neighbor...

See ya all then.

Dawg... check your email!

I just got a call from the newest member... you might remember the pic of the white dually I posted... he joined last thursday, and has ordered a cummins e brake with the BD shifter switch. If it gets here in time, we may have another project!

HELP! hey Rob I need directions! lol (big time!)

Rob, I got the Amsoil Series 2000 75W-140 gear lube for the Mag-Hytec differential upgrade yesterday... that should put John's mind at ease (Ezzo) :D... the Amsoil air filter as well. Additionally, I will bring everything necessary to effect the cover installation. As I'm not sure about my possible work schedule this weekend, I will make appropriate provisions for whatever scenario exists. I will also bring the required tools for the injector R&R.

conspiracy?

..... funny thing, that was what they asked me when I hired in at the "balloon factory"... only they mentioned something about... taking it dry?

..... whatever that meant

FS: Front bumper

No, John, not the new bigass deer strainer we just put on -- the one we took off.

If any NWBOMBers need a front bumper, I'd sure love to get my old one out from underfoot. Saturday'd be a great day to replace it, too. This one is off a 2000, but I don't know what other years it'll fit. It has the factory fog lights and harness, and it doesn't have any dents.

Drop me a note or reply here, and I'll bring it along Saturday.

FYI Rob-I sent you an e-mail (Need directions)

Hey Rob-

I would like to head out to your place on Saturday. I sent you an e-mail asking for directions.

If Cummins NW comes through for me, I should have my Quick Check II up and running for anyone who's interested.

New Bomber on his way....

Hi Rob,

I got a hold of Geoffrey the person you asked me to contact. It looks as if we have a new bomber coming out to see what we do. He has a 12 valve Cummins. Where is Piers when you need him? Anyhow it looks like we will head out at 9 am. I would really like to see the injector install ;) . Bomb On, Sam.

Hey rob: will be comming your way about the 24th. will be up there about 3 to 4 weeks. Will be making a stop at Bill K's for a day or 2 for a 91% to 89% swap.

See you guys next month.

Well, I had a great afternoon. A little warm, perched atop the engine putting the injectors in, but well worth it. I'm sure I looked a bit odd, laughing maniacally through Black Diamond, blasting smoke out the back end. :D

I'm sure it'll get old eventually, but for now I've got that grin back!

Nice to meet some new NWBOMBers, and see some old friends. I'm looking forward to the next gathering, hopefully we'll have some more projects to wrench.

WooHoo! Another successful BOMB run in the NW!

I had a blast... hope everyone else did, too... we got a lot of projects done.

We installed one exhaust brake... the other didn't arrive in the mail yet. :(

The one we did went very well. We also got the magHytec rear diff cover installed, a BD 2Low kit installed, the set of injectors, got started on a set of Power Vision mirrors, and drilled and tapped for a pyro.

We had the usual donuts, coffee, pop, and chips/dips. And of course, the usual BSing!

I enjoyed meeting several new people. Denny and Tom, it was my pleasure to meet ya! SCooke, and all...come again!

Thanks to everyone that showed up... I love these things!

I forgot... Jon, when you left, we all ran to the backyard, overlooking the road... we figured you would give us a smoke/sound show... what happened?

Cool bumper, Jon. There's another thing for me to add to my wish list. Man that list is getting long and expensive!

I should be outside finishing up my Powervision mirror installation, but here I am, fooling around on the TDR site, AND I have the new TDR sitting right next to me! Oh well, looks like the rest of the day is a write-off!

Andy

I hate missing NW BOMBfests :( Did you get some pictures? I would've come but in the last week I've really been burning up the pavement (driven 2900 miles in 8 days) so I decided to give my Cummins (actually my butt!) a break

Hope a few of you guys can make it to Spokane next weekend! Rob oughta postpone his roadbuilding project another week ;)
