Competition 3G intercooler fit a 1997 12v?

I'm getting twins put on my truck right now and was wondering if I should get it o-ringed or just do the ARP studs. I'm not for sure what max boost I will run, just whatever does the the best at the track, but don't plan on goin over 70-75lbs to save durability. Should I just go ahead and get the truck o-ringed and put the ARP studs in to be on the safe side? Thanks.

I agree, studs and o-ringed. I would do it just to save the hassle and possibility of blowing the head gasket. With the o-ring, no gasket to worry about. And most of the time, the best gasket is no gasket.

I understand that fire rings are better than "O" rings, if you are going to run 70# boost "O" ringing the head will work, but if going over 75#-80# you will want to "O" ring the block also. Do it while it is apart it will save money and time. Just do it right the first time you won't regret it. Go easy and it will cost more, and take more time to do it twice.
