my wife is looking at getting a ctd 2003 quad cab 2500 4x4 short bed. great huh ill have two . she thinks it will be hers. he he . hope she dosent read this. shhhhhh



my question is she works in town and parks in a garage.



what is the height on these things?

My 3500 SRW 4x4 is 78" to 79". The 2500 4x4 should be a tad shorter by about 1/2 to 1 inch.

I am not sure on the actual height of my truck but I do know that my truck fit's in the parking garage at the nearby convention center. It looks freaky when you drive in the garage because from the drivers seat you would swear that the truck is going to hit the ceiling but there's about six inches of room to spare.

what we are hoping for is for it to fit into a garage that is labeled 6'- 6". we know it is going to be close. what we are looking for is to find out who else fits in one of these garages or an exact measurement.

6'6" is going to make it a pretty tight fit. You might have to let some air out of your tires. Have you actually measured the garage? They may be overcautious. Good luck
