My truck has had a slight drift or should I say "pull" to the right since new. The first trip to the dealer, they put it on the alignment rack and tweaked the front end. We thought that would do the trick, but it was still there. The second trip in, they crossed the two front tires and gave it back to me. Still a problem. The last trip in, they rotated all 4 tires. Still a problem. Anyone else having this happen? Anyone know of any dealer or alignment shop that has fixed this? The dealer said if I could find any successful fix, they would do it, permitting Chrysler approved.

HELP!!!!!!!!! This is really taking a toll on my left arm on long trips.

:( :( :( :(

The truck now has 7000 miles on it. Other than that, I really enjoy my new ride!Oo.

PB, just for grins and giggles, measure the distance from the rear of tires to a point on the body of truck. You will need a 4' level a framing square and tape measure. Make sure the left to right level of truck is good. Put square across tire with square end facing rear. Measure the distance to marked point behind square (door frame gap or edge of fender) on both sides. This is a backyard method for confirming front end square to body/frame. Odds are that the four wheel square is good but the caster angle on the front end is off. You can actually do an adjustment to correct this at home and take it to dealer afterwards and let them get it right. It's hard to get them to correct a problem that is in specs. Mike

The PULL/DRIFT RIGHT has been on going since 03. Lots of posts on it. Some dealers have been using the adjustable ball joint for earlier model. There is a old TSB on 01 or 02 etc. Its not a APPROVED repair but there are threads on it were some Reps have approved that for 03 etc. I printed the post and threads to that and gave it to the dealer I use for him to hand to the REP. I want mine repaired also. No adjustment in 4x4 front end for caster I believe. Told on edge of specs and not enough spec to accommodate road crown. Lots of posts about this issue in the past. I see with 04 THEY still did not correct the problem. told that there are TWO differant adjustable ball joints and alignment needs to be checked and order the joint that is needed. Also a rubber boot is added to the old style joint to use it on a 3rd generation.
