OBD II connector is loose

After the 100's of times I have plugged in my smarty for adjustments my OBDII connector is loose. Is there some sort of clip that hold it in place?



I just dont want to ruin any wires from the plug being loose.

Mine

Mine is a plasic connector that is pushed througha metal plate. Once pushed through, there are two platic "wings" that engage on the outside of the plate and keep it from pushing back through the plate.

So the clip part must be part of the OBDII itself then?
I see where it pushes though the metal plate, I must have snapped one of the wings.

Buy an extension cable and make your own mount wherever you want it.
