It looks like I can get a good deal on an OBD II with cartridge and leads for the American big 3 vehicles.
Questions: Does it monitor the transmission?
Does it give OEM codes or do you have to convert a FMI/ PID code to a Ford/Chrysler/Chevy?
I am familiar with Insight will it be easy to adapt to this?
Does it read the sensors in real time or is there a 2-3 second delay like Insight?
Is $1200 dollars too much to pay for a used one in good shape (Snap-On)?
Most important, will it read the 03 Dodge even if the cartridge is a couple years old?( Insight won't read the 03 Dodge)
