Howdy all,

Took my RAM 2015 2500 Cummins 4x4 into the dealer a few days ago to have them perform the safety recall T25, Occupant restraintControl Module , T79 Brake Transmission Shift Interlock and T51 Diesel water pump recall.

Noticed yesterday the ESC malfunction indicator lamp on the dashboard is on. Hooked up the scan tool and retrieved a trouble code C006A-54 ""Multi Axis Acceleration Sensor - Missing Calibration"'

This seems to be a '' since-you". Since the dealer flashed the module I now have this trouble code.
Really a hassle taking it back to the dealer as we are aways from them.

Anyone have experience with this code?
Can I erase it with my scan tool and see if it returns?

Any advise appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane in sunny , hot, liberal infested California.

You might be able to erase the code. But the ESC trouble indicator won't go away until they recalibrate the acceleration sensor.

It happens when every time they do the occupant restraint recall and don't do all the steps listed in the instructions they are supposed to follow when doing T25.

I erased the code yesterday and took the truck for a spin around the block. Parked it and shut off the engine. Restarted the engine and the ESC MIL came right back on. Looks like we are headed back to the Dealership for a "re-do" of the T25 recall update.

You would think that as many of these trucks that they have done recall/updates on, they would get them right.

Maybe the tech's are smarter in Florida. Ha !
