Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) OD off switch does not work

I did a search on the forum, but couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. My issue are that the OD switch on the stick does not work on my 01. 5. Anybody have a idea of troubleshooting this, or is it just to get a new switch and see what happens?

Bringing it to the top again, hopefully someone can help me with this problem. I'm in Norway with no Dodgedealers here, so I will need to order parts from US.
