Odd Noise?

Last couple of days, it's been in the 20s and I've noticed a noise that I can't figure out what it is. The sound is a "woooo" similiar to the sound you get when blowing across the top of a coke bottle. It comes and goes with a slight variation of the throttle. (less than 125 rpm). At first I thought it was wind but now I don't think it is. It seems to only happen when it's below 32 degrees. Any idea???

I get a sound like that when it is really cold, I think it is my powersteering pump. It goes away after about 10 minutes.

Did I see something about a restricter in the Heaters Hose?

I hear it in my truck except when my right foot goes spactic.



Seriously, check out the TSB's. Think it's in the heater hose.

Prob just cold power-steering. Mine does it daily in the real cold.

Noise

I've got the same noise in our '01. Sounds like the heater hose fitting on the head, same problem we had on the '99. It was subject of TSB, fall of '99. Haven't had time to check, but the easy way is clamp the heater hose and see if it still does it.
