I recently purchased a 97 2500 5 speed with 275k miles at a real good price :D , to drive while I rebuild and (tweak) my other 97. Anyway, while driving to work today it started to miss, when I got to work I opened the hood to look and found fuel coming out around #1 exhaust port at manifold. . We trailered it home. I pulled the #1 injector, then pulled the injector apart and found that the spring had broke... ... I put a 180hp injector in to see how it ran, and it runs better. . My question is how bad would it be run it with the 180 injector in there til this weekend when I can pull all of them and put some 370's in there, also the injectors in there now are 215's... I have no need to run it hard, just drive it back and forth 26 miles round trip... Thank you very much, Marc

Bad? Couldn't be any worse than driving it with the broken injector. I wouldn't hesitate to use the 180.

I suspect you already have. ;)

if you have a set change them all until yo ucan fix it, the cylinder with the 180 may get to hot and you wont know because its just one,

Well... ... I only ran it that way one day, and it was fine. I have nice homemade 370 lookalikes in there now... ... ... ... ... ... ...
