I am looking into ordering a new truck and have a couple of questions.

Can you deal on the price? I have a large down payment do the dealers have the 0% interest going on?

What dealer is the easiest to order from?

I would like to order a truck to my specifications that is why I am researching ordering one.

Thanks for your help.

The 96 I have had for 16 years so it is not going to be a purchase that I will buy a new one every 5 years.

The 96 in my signature will be for sale also.

Thank you

Casey

Shop Dennis Dillion in Idaho. 11k-12k +/- off MSRP is a good buy. Snoking

Dave Smith was a very good experience. Did the whole deal by phone and email, flew over and picked it up, they were very organized and you can get all your add ons like bed liner, hitch, etc right there. Not sure if we got absolutely the CHEAPEST price, but it was very competitive and great service is worth something to us.

Ask Ken (indytruckchampion@gmail.com)(317-937-4115) for a quote. He beat any price I could find in CO and arranged for delivery to a local dealer at no additional cost. Good guy to work with.

It's always best to order your truck or car. It won't cost you any more than if you pick it off the lot.. You specify every option and color you want, provided it's on the order list. Check invoice pricing from Kelley Blue Book or NADA. You negotiate at invoice or something beliw that. Don't even think nor mention MSRP because it doesn't mean anything. Also find out what the Holdback dollars are and use it as an Ace In The Hole. You can find it at Kelley, NADA, Edmond and other web sites. Good luck. george

Make a build sheet and send it to the above mentioned and places near you, tell them you are shopping for the best BOTTOM line price.

I highly advise the rear air ride option on a 3500.

I am almost 72 and have never ordered a vehicle, as I could not stand the wait! I looked hard and far to find the 2015 and it was equipped like we wanted minus the 5th wheel prep. So I installed that myself. Had Nav which we did not think we wanted, now we are glad it had it. We had fun flying to Colorado first class on air miles and driving it home. Can't drive 80 mph around here. 1400 miles in the first 48 hours of ownership was a crash course in the truck's systems and operation. Snoking

Great suggestions above RE: Dennis Dillon, where I got mine and Indytuckchampion. You will not find lower pricing.

My understanding is that the order book for 2016's is closed. You may be waiting longer now for the 2017 retool..

I ordered mine from Larry Miller in Boise and flew over to pick it up. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three Boise area dealers. I've heard good things about all of them. I'm not sure why but they all can beat anyone over here in western Washington. Good luck.

I wish Nations or someone would buy Karmart in Mount Vernon. Dewayne Lane bought a few of the other dealers on auto row. Snoking

Indytruckchampion is the most knowledgable salesman I've ever encountered. Many good reports on the other forum about dealings with him. I'd look him up first.

I will give Ken a second vote here, I got my 2016 from him back in Dec, and it was about the most painless vehicle purchase I have done and he was a 800+ miles away and beat all prices I had from any dealer in PA (my home state) and delivered it to my door
Nice guy, no bullcrap, haggling or the likes
when time comes for another one, he will be getting call again from me!

Another dealer is Cooper Motors in Clinton SC.. 864-833-1741 He deals commercial trucks.. Has many more trucks than cars on his lot!!

I ordered mine from Peterson Stampede in Boise. Dennis Dillion had a better price ($150 difference), Dave Smith wasn't even close (I've heard that Dave Smith has been bought out by some big conglomerate, and that might explain their higher price), but the customer care I received at P.S.initially was way better than what I was getting from my salesperson at D.D. So I went with Peterson Stampede. Unfortunately, the excellent salesperson that I dealt with and placed my order with at P.S. was abruptly terminated... I think her (female) boss was threatened by her success, and other attributes... Long story short. The new sales person they assigned to me is terrible. Hasn't contacted me in two weeks to update me on my build. I got about 10k off of invoice, so I am happy with that. I just want some pretty good customer service when I am dropping nearly $60k.
i think there may be 0 % for at least 30 months, maybe even 60 months (just caught part of that in a commercial the other day).
Good luck in your search

Hey KCV67,
I wanted to mention that if you are a member of USAA, you can call them and get a dealer rebate. Ask the dealer if they accept them.
When I called, I was able to get 1000.00 off my price.
Good luck with your deal!
