I need to replace the ball joints on my 2005 3500. Should I replace them with OEM, redesigned sealed units, or Moog greasable ball joints? The OEM's lasted 40K. Any input is appreciated. Any other thoughts/suggestions? Thanks

Got a part number on the Moog ball joint(s) kit? What wore out on ya? Upper, lower, ect? Mine are out of spec with only 15k on the truck. It is afecting tire ware a little. I am running a little more negitive camber than I would like therefor I need to replace them. I guess the dealer could replace them under warrenty but the last thing I want is some ***** Clown 18 year old greese monkey working on my 40K truck.

I dont think it really matters if you put geaseables in because you can only grease one of them which I beleive is the top ball joint

Get the Moog. Here is where I bought mine, they had the best price and super quick shipping. Ordered on Monday, got the on Thursday.

The part numbers are:

Upper Adjustable and greasable : MOOG Part # K7448

Lower Greasable : MOOG Part # K7467

While you are at it, make sure you replace the u-joints on the front drivelines, mine were completely dry and rusted. I believe the greasable u-joints is PRECISION Part #464. RockAuto also have them.
