OEM exhaust

A quickie. What is the diameter of the OEM exhaust? Mine is a 3" with a 3+1/2" tip. I've seen pics of other stock looking trucks with pipes that look smaller. I'm just trying to figure if mine is stock or not.

Yup...Its stock.

Thats the stock pipe. .



Most muffler shops can't handle anything over 3" so some replacement pipes I've seen have been 3 and sometimes 2 3/4!!! And it does look pretty small. If they only knew how much power they are loosing through that garden hose. LOL

One more item on the Mod List

Yup, it's a constant battle. I'm now looking at my truck as a fluid project. It's not wholy a restoration thing. No, it's a struggle between desires, safety, dreams, impulses, priorities, resources and relationships. Simple, right?
