OEM Tow Hooks & Sport Bumper

Has anyone installed OEM tow hooks with the sport package bumper?



I purchased 2, almost new, 2nd generation tow hooks off eBay. When I held them up to the frame, all the holes looked like they would line up. The catch is it doesn't look like it will fall below the bumper far enough to make them useful.



Are there two p/n's available, maybe?

Do a search on hear there was a thread awhile back on this. I put them on mine but you have to cut two slots in the Sport bumper for the hooks. The 1500 Offroad has these slots molded in from the factory. Bummer!!

I installed them on a "non-sport", but I remember the instructions included a section for installing them on a "sport". The only difference that I can recall, is that the tow hooks are installed further outward (next set of holes) than on the "non-sport" model. Sorry, I've got the P/N at home.

OK... now more questions:



Does someone have a pic of the tow hooks installed with the sport bumper?



Does anyone know what the difference is between the two part numbers? How do I tell which set I have... can't find a p/n stamped on them anywhere (my suspicion is I have the non-sport model)?



Does someone have the instructions that came with your OEM tow hooks? Could you fax me a copy at 860. 557. 7427?
