I just bought a set of Lightforce off road lights and want to see if I can mount the switch for them in one of the blank slots in the center of the dash above the cup holder. Does anyone know of a vendor that makes a switch that will fit these slots? I have the heated seat switches in two of the slots but have blanks in the center two positions. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks... . Doug

do you have a laramie? Mine is a sport and the area you are talking about only has a blank cubby hole. I would like to get the piece that would allow switches to be installed and still have that factory look.

Yes, I have the Laramie. I would guess you could get the face plate from Dodge. Maybe someone has the part number to make it easier.

NAPA has ones that fit, don't have a part number but they come in red or yellow & light up when ON

Checked with Napa here in Kansas City and they didn't have any.

Anyone have a part number for this switch?

Thanks... . Doug

NICE! What model did you get? Where did you mount the lights? Can we see some pics? I want a set of Blitz 240s, but I think I have to wait until I get an aftermarket front bumper to mount them...

I used performance painless wireing for my switches on my two Jeep's. They carry the best kits all premade and ready to install with diagrams and phone in help lines. Their web sight is www.painlessperformance.com

Thanks for the info. I checked it out but they don't have the switches I'm looking for. I'm trying to find some switches that look and fit like the heated seat button and will fit in one of the two slots in between.

Thanks..... Doug

I got the Blitz 240's, in fact they just arrived today. They look great. I have a brush guard on mine and I'm either going to mount them on the inside of the upright posts or make a custom bracket for them. One neat idea I've seen is making a couple of brackets that mount to a plate that fits behind the license plate.

I was waiting until they came in so I could get some accurate measurements. I will say this, the 240's are big. If they put out as much light as they look like they can I will be lighting up the night.

Where abouts in Kansas are you. I used to run all over Northern Kansas. You know the last car I bought had heated seats. I wouldn't have gotten them otherwise. Now I would hate to do without them. As I'm sure you know the seats heat up a lot faster than the heater does. If you get over into God's country give me a shout and I'll buy you a cup of coffee.

Thanks... . Doug
