Not that I actually can do much off roading at all in my D250 but I was curious as to how other first gen drivers were attaching mud flaps. when i look at the bed theres not really much room to get a good mount for the flaps.
 
Mine had mudflaps on the rears when I bought it. Nothin special, just those ones that attach around the wheel well... Truck is a a buddies house for the transmission r&r, if I get over there I'll take some pictures. Not much to see, just some screws through the body sheet metal where it bends into the wheel well.
 
i took a piece of flat metal and and welded a one inch wide by 12 or so inch long piece of metal to it. like a T and bolted the head of the T to the frame then suspended the flap in the fender well
