I am interested in moving up to a set of twins for my 2004. 5, and was wondering who offers the best(quality, reliability) set of twins in kit form? I've read about BD and Aurora, but was hoping for some feedback from TDR. Thanks for the input, love the site.

I am very happy with the BD Twin's. From the quality to the installation to the performance, I have no issue's.

Thanks for the feedback, I realize that most prefer to build their own twins but I am not familiar enough with all the available configurations to put together a set that would be any better than what is available. Also, the truck is not driven daily but does do some medium to heavy hauling (horses) by my wife which is why reliability is a big concern.

I had the BD twins on my 03', and I will definitely own them again. The quality and clear and easy install was enough for me. Performance wise, they are great for a 500-600 ish hp truck that is used for pulling, or playing. For an all out sled puller or 1/4 mile truck, they arent big enough to keep you cool in the 700+hp range, but I never plan on getting the crazy anyway.

when my bombing really begins, i will probably go with bd's set. . i really like the cast piece ats has between their two turbine housings, but i can live with the bd manufactured piece. while i would like to build my own twins, i don't have the time to engineer the specs on the chargers to make them run how i want, or to form the piping [buying up bends and cutting/welding them to fit] when there are very nicely engineered pre-package twins avalable, i'll work a few OT shifts to make up the difference between making a set and buying a set

Thanks for the feedback, the Relentless Artic Twins are intriguing. Does anyone offer a battery relocation kit for third gen. trucks? It just seems that all the heat under the hood can't be good for batteries long term.

took some pics today (dirty), Nathan sells his twins in kit form although i opted for him to install as i was close by.

Sorry for my ignorance, but is Nathan with Relentless or from another company. Thanks again.

He works for himself, on the main forums page if you scroll down to the bottom it shows you who's online, click on username "Idahoctd" and send him a pm.

You sure did (thanks). maybe you should have posted the pics as your truck is always clean. man truck has been down for almost a month and driving the 01 is just not the same. supposed to see Don's inj. today yeehaw.

I was looking at the twin set of Nathan's (previous pictures) and see a Holset turbo-is it a stock turbo?

What does Nathan use-does he have kits for street, towing etc. ? I'm not educated about turbo systems yet, but is that one of those remote wastegates that PDR sells or something equivelent? More uneducated questions, but are those remote wastegates more efficient or something, think I read something about them in 'Unlimited Boost' by a racer.

Anybody know about what the price range of Nathans set?
