Dyno Testing and Tuning

Oh Bob in soooo many ways. Work wasn't going to let it happen and even if I could get out the truck would make sure NOT to let me go anyhow. and even if BOTH worked out O. K there allways is the occasional lightning strike out of nowhere deal.

So Do we have a results list? I wannah get the awards out to their rightfull owners. The weather was perfect no? It sure was here!

WHEATIES posted a 460 run, I had a 422 run...

Someone else with a black 2500 that read "Supertuned By BlueChip Diesel" had a run od 512 or 514, can't remember!

You forgot the other end of the field. The one that came in with the least HP.

194. 5... Not bad for bone stock!

Can we say time to Bomb!!!

i think that guy's name was "Ben" who worked for blue chip. nice truck though. 514 on a spike, ~460 on the others.

i'm also feeling some of the sunburn now, part polish blood i guess.

Sounds like you guys had a great day as well. I was able to go to a local event here in Jersey and a be the medium fish in the little pond and win:D high HP with 425 and greatest improvement over stock for a $ 350. 00 gift check from the sponsoring shop X-Tream Diesel in Farmingdale on rt 34 next to the air port. By the way it was supposed to be a big day for the ford guys. Guess they will have to bring a bigger set of guns next time. There was a ford at 409 but most of the rest were in the 270 to 340 range. Did get to see a stock 04 Dodge pull a nice 280 something rear wheel Hp bone stock quite a surprise with a 325 flywheel rating.

Dyno days are always great. Great to meet everyone and see some new faces.

MTE - thanks... I'm still coughing up black soot!

Yes, it was a good time, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get my truck on there, maybe next time. I had to leave early and the dyno was overheated for a little bit, and had to be cooled off.

That is one first class lunch truck! Would you like some welding rod on your dog? The best part is you cut those tire-siping flanges off the sides of the dyno rollers!

I heard you are back on the road after yet another setback?

vssman: You know where you were the day before when the boogers are black!

MTE

I had a great time. However, I did feel sorry for the poor guy who was trying to work on his 5. 0 Mustang in the shop along side of the dyno. Wheaties and a few other truck's literally smoked the shop up so bad the guy couldn't even see his car for a minute or two :D .

Also, I want to thank TORQUE THIS and RED HOT WELD for the rides they gave me in their trucks. It just not right that a 14,000 pound welding truck can accelerate faster than most sports cars.

Now that Mark has the accelleration of his 14k truck nailed, he REALLY needs to so something about the brakes of that thing. The stop-pucker factor is bad. I'm pretty sure I left a ring-steak impression on his seat trying to stop that thing.

Mark is a great guy. There aren't to many people who would actually thank me after I broke two of his cneter marker lights on the back of his truck!

Hey guys, THANK YOU!! For every thing you have done for me!!

Jeff the lights are fixed, You know the brakes worked fine when

I got stoped in CT, The officer did't like the broken lights. I had to

THANK him also! A GREAT TIME THANKS SCOTT & MIKE!!! See you

at Muncie!!

Looks like I missed out on another great event.

Too busy with life, Muncie doesn't look good either.

Rosco, amazing how quick those Cummins can come alive!

Good to know everyone had a good time.

See ya all sometime, hopefully soon!
