In-freaking-sane. You definitely have bigger stones than me. The thought of breaking down at my deerlease 225 miles from home would make me sick, let alone the western pacific.

Iyaayas!!

Was the truck just wet or do you have that thing completely painted in Rhino liner?? Bad *** looking truck :--) and looked like a killer ride in the hills. Is that down by Talofofo Falls?

Very nice looking truck. Didn't know there was that much wheeling available in Guam. I'd have a lot of fun with my TJ out there. I noticed the NM plates. Do you hail from NM? I used to live in ABQ until the AF moved me around to currently live at Dyess AFB, TX.

Great pics, looks like a lot of fun when you slide into places you don't want to go. :D After returning from RVN I was stationed on the swabby side as an advisor to the Vietnamese; before the hotels on the beach. :)

Are the roads still made of crushed coral and tar? Slippery as packed snow/ice when wet.

Bob

yes I did live in Albuquerque. went to high school there, and part of middle school.

and yes some of the roads here are coral and slipppery when wet. I was coming out of a Mobil gas station the other day and it was kindof down hill, stepped on the brakes and the truck slid 90 degrees sideways haha

Sweet pics! Thanks for posting... I'm an ex-AF non-comm and an AF-brat who was "hatched" at Big Navy there on Guam. Live on F-street on Anderson. Been back a few times and it's definitely changed from when I left as a lil tyke in '73.

Nice to know that there are folks out there who know what banyan trees and latte stones are (I'm constantly having to explain my tattoos!).

Great photos. I wish i could say i remember Guam ,but since i was two months old in 73 when my pop was transfered back state side i dont.
