Can't wait to see the posts over there in about a year!
"Broke again!"
"dealer can't fix!"
"My old Cummins run circles "
"Dents from a baby"
"allison pukes"
"blah,blah,blah"

I'm surprised there wasn't a post from Barbara Streisand on that one. There's no doubt that the DMAX will outrun everthing. I didn't buy my truck for speed... . I bought it for pulling and ease of maintenance.

The kicker to it all would have to be the "<font color=red>Cylinder count</font>" (gee my untested I-SUE-UE motor was a #ad
in many cases so I need to somehow measure manlyhood) Personally I think the cummins does not need a high CYL count (Proved that one huh?) so it's kinda like the game of golf no? The lower the score... .

You cannot fill up a Duramax at the big fuel pumps. The fuel neck is too small. I've actually been to a couple of fuel stations that only had the big fuel nozzle. Besides, I like to fill up in 2 minutes or less.

I guess that shows that even GM thinks the Un-DuraMax to be a car and not a truck. Atleast GM hasnt changed it's MO of using off-the-shelf parts... Sure glad I dont have one!!! GM suckered me in '83 and I havnt forgotton. :D I wonder if they used "Unleaded fuel only" decals... Probably not Sorry for my attitude but I really hate GM and am afraid they are pushing ANOTHER diesel lemon on the American public. I really wish GM would learn to spell DIESEL, "G-A-S-O-L-I-N-E" and quit making junk to give all diesels a bad reputation.

Am I the only one to notice that "their" forum seems to be the same software as this one, yet they don't display last names? I know this is off-topic for this thread, but I couldn't let it pass.

You can tell by my avatar that I am making the most of HAVING to display my name.

This is my first post in the new software and I am very impressed with the text options above.

Nope, ford-diesel.com uses the software the TDR site USED to use, which is Infopop's Ultimate Bulletin Board (although TDR used an older version). The software TDR is now using is Jelsoft's vBulletin.

My suspicion is that when they did the upgrade, they put a good amount of effort into retaining as much of the look and feel of the old software.
