OH gauge pod doesn't fit right

Help! I just received my gauges for my 05 2500. I bought the triple overhead pod from Geno's to mount them in. I trimmed off about 1/4" or so like the directions said. When I put it up to test fit it, I can't bring the rear view mirror all the way back up to where it needs to be to see out the back of the truck. I'm trying to center it perfectly in the middle of the windshield. It seems like the front of the pod is hitting the back of the overhead console in the truck. Is it designed to be offset a little to one side or the other? I don't think it will look right like that. How has everyone been setting them up? If anyone has pics I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks.

I do not remember the thread, but somebody mentioned there being a center brace uder the headliner that meets where you are trying to mount. May be worth looking under your headliner to see.



Apparently it is not supposed to be present on the '05s, but some still exist. Do a Search for guages.

I finally got it to fit. I just had to keep trimming until it was right.
