Posted this in the 911 forum as well, but I didn't want anybody to miss it.



Got smoke pushing out of the vent tube. Doesn't look like it's puffing, just kinda steady blowing. Pulled the dipstick to check the oil, it's pushing smoke from there too. Pulled the oil fill cap, and yep, it's pushing more smoke. It's also making a squeeling sound, like something is about to let go. I can hear it with the fill cap off.



EGT is normal, water temp normal, oil pressure normal, oil level is fine, no noticeable loss of power. Just lots of stinky oil burning kinda smoke.



'96 12v, auto, #4 plate, 3K GSK.



Any ideas?

I think I am in this club too. Overheated last year from losing a hose to the espar. Dodged the bullet for a while, but seems my luck has run out.



Head comes off tomorrow.
