well i went to a buddies place and turned up my truck i bought it w/ the plate slide but we ground it so that it fuel pretty good down low harder in the center and backs out on top it has enough fuel that the turbo cant clean it up any more so i guess that means bigger ones after a clutch im going to grind the plate flat so i don't have to keep getting in there later on. what i need now tho is a 4k gsk so that it doesn't defuel at 25 or whatever its set at now.

oh i also forgot to mention that we clamped the boost line to the waste gate and so it really spools now.

last question we guessed it was about 250 ish horses and about 500ish ftlbs does that seem right or a little high anyways i love this truck and can't wait to see what a cam twins gsk and all the other goodies i have planned will do

Good to hear you got her runnin good... 100k miles, its just barely broke in. .

you have gauges on this thing yet? if not I wouldnt jump on the go pedal much before you get em. . dont want to pop the turbo or melt a piston. .

the #10 half moon is a very good plate, I ground the low end of mine a bit deeper so its a lopsided half moon kinda thing. . works real good. Just savin up some $ for a new turbo and injectors now heh. .

250hp sounds close. . might be a little under that. . Did you slide the AFC housing full forward also?

well mine is a half moon but the hole thing is cut deep the deepest part is what would be a zero if cut all the way flat im gonna cut that off later.

no there are no guages they are on the way. thats the problem w/ these 12v's you can make power but have to pay to whatch that power so yeah im taking it very easy till the guages go in.

i know not many here like to hear this but as much as i love all this power i think that for the time being i need to find a stock plate and put it in so as to save the clutch and turbo till im out of school right now im looking at paying something like 30k to go to school (wyotech in case your interested) and i know i wont be able to afford a burnt clutch or blown turbo. so if any ya'll got one your willing to part w/ i would be really pleased.

like i said the power is so increadibly fun but i can't afford a play truck right now i need something that just gets me around till i have the money to play w/.

If you get gauges, you should be fine. If the clutch starts to slip, back off the throttle. You do need an egt gauge at the very least though. My plate is about as you describe, and My egts can get plenty toasty if I use to much throttle. I have been driving this way for two years now with no reliabilty issues.
