Well with the demise of the headgasket in my 12v it means a road trip is needed and will happen. I am off to take the truck to EEP in Thornville and will be in the area until they finish later in the week. So if anyone sees a owner who is small framed,looks lost without his truck,might be a tad nervous and is found wandering about aimlessly,console him as it may be me,LOL.



Seriously,I am dropping the truck off there for some much needed work and will be staying close by if anyone out there wants to BS or trade wild stories. I get the pleasure of leaving tommorrow on the 4th(stress tabs may be needed for traffic) and will arrive out there that day and be in the area until Thursday or Friday... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... The truck is for sale as is most anything I own for the right price. I could never sell it with the head leaking anyway as I wouldnt sleep at night taking someone over like that. I am in search for a 04. 5-05 Solar Yellow Sport with a automatic and as loaded as I can find now,the problem is finding one. Tomeygun had found one for me a while back sitting in a very remote area of Arizona and when I called the dealership and inquired about it they wanted outrageous money for it. They had it so marked up due to its color and their saying it was a collectors truck I can not envision them selling it.



The heck of it is the color was a 1/2 year color only(late 04. 5 and early 05) and discontinued in the diesels afterwards. The same deal they did with the highly sought after 01 Amber Fire Pearlcoat(can't find any of them sitting around either). I want a automatic as my shoulder will be operated on later this year and I will not be able to wheel my stick for about 4 months. All the inquiries I have made about switching mine over to a automatic have told me not to do it,sell mine and buy one.



At any rate for now,I keep on with mine,adding parts,cleaning her up and making it as nice as I can. Call me on my cell some night if you want to chat..... Andy
