Oct 23 - Diesel Drags & Dyno @ US 131 Dragway - Martin, MI

i noticed a few of u were from ohio or kentucky. i think its kinda cool that i am not the only one from these parts. As a matter of fact a few nights ago another guy in a 03 ram dually ram pulled up to me on the hiway here in cincinnati and gave me a thumbs up and a honk (i amthinking maybe it was the big tdr sticker on my back windshield?). anyway i am interested to see what other active members are from this area. Paul of pauls auto engineering is a good friend of mine, maybe we can organize a grillout/dyno day or soemthing in the spring.

The wife and I were heading out west last month and a pickup past me and blew his horn and gave me the thumbs up also. He was driving a white Dodge with a big blue "Cummins" down the side of the truck. Don't know if he was a service guy or what, but diesel drivers seem to look for other diesel drivers. I know I do. I also think it would be fun to have a CTD get together in this part of the country.

Yea man, that sounds like a plan. I am from over in Indiana, Versailles to be exact, and there are A LOT of Dodge's out there. I am fixing on graduating from Purdue here in a few weeks (hopefully, depends on Calculus). But, I will hopefully be heading to Cincinnati to work, but you never know. But, yes, I would be interested in getting together and talking trucks.

Centerville, OH

I am back and forth between Centerville OH and Lake Cumberland KY every weekend. Maybe I will see some of you on the HWY.

Just moved to Cleveland from Calif. Do not see many big pickups but there are a few. Being new to the area I will have to find the local shops for oils, lub's etc. Not looking forward to having my new truck get salted though. I posted a thread on surviving salt on winter roads and got some good advice. If you have a get together PM or post. Regards, Wsurf.

I'm in Dayton... I'm all for getting together to feed the diesel obsession!

There was some brief talk about a southeast Ohio/tristate TDR in the regional discussion board for Ohio...

I recognize 3 or 4 other local '03 Cummins', but they always seem to ignore me when I wave. Oh well.

This thread reminds me that I have nothing on my truck that identifies me as a TDR member... I need to fix that.

Cincinnati Chapter

Sounds good. I'm just over the line in Indiana. But I thought there was a Cincinnati group at one time, is it still active?

I would love to get together with you guys and chat. Ther is a small group of us now in the area, but they don't meet very often. I think your ideal sound great, maybe we could do something before the end of the year. Maybe there is a shop out there that would give us a place to meet at??? Hint, Hint... . If I had a shop I couldn't think of anything better then a bunch on guy's showing up, who love there trucks, and love to spend money on them. Wow. . I run around the Cincinnati , florence, and lawrenceburg areas. So if you see a black Dodge 3500 with a big old TDR sticker, hook, I'd love to meet you.

I also just realized that I don't have a single sticker on my truck!

I want to get a power sliding rear window soon and have been postponing the stickers until then. Stickers are cheap though!

I live in Hidden Valley in Lawrenceburg, IN and have the '03 flame red 2500. I'll keep my eyes open for you guys.

I talked to another guy one time around here that said that the Cincinnati chapter of the TDR didn't like to modify their trucks. I don't know if this is true or not, but I can't imagine it is.

I'd be up for a gathering of some sort.

I would think that this post would eventually get moved to the local chapters and regional events forum.

I'm glade to hear from you. There are many in the cincy TDR that do modify there trucks, maybe not as extreme as myself, but each to there own. I don't think I have meet a Cummins owner that didn't do something to their truck. I think most just enjoy tinkering like myself. I have been to the HIdden Valley area many times, and like the area. While I do not know of any place that would hold a meeting for us, I would be willing to help with it's planning. Anybody out there have any Ideals? There is a new Diesel shop by me, BRC Diesel Performance,859-635-5655, maybe they would show some interrest?

I'm in Louisville, so that isn't unreasonably far from anything we can come up with. I have an itsy-bisty TDR sticker on my toolbox. Actually, my front license plate is a CAT plate. Why? Heck if I know... I just like it. I guess I ought to swap it for a TDR tag. I haven't even taken the sliencer ring out of my truck yet. I'm pretty conservative about tinkering with it... . so far. :) I would liek to change the exhaust, but I'd like to hear one that somebody has already done. And I'd like to add gauges too. But again, I'd like to see what folks have done with theirs. I just hate being serial number 001. Pictures are great, but real life would be even better.

Dont Leave Me OUt

Hi Local Dodge Owners, I'm in Brookville Indiana... . 20 minutes from ohio, 30 from ky... . I'm down south eastern indiana and cincy area alot... . 03 2500 HO Cummins, Reg Cab, Timberline Green...

There is a diesel gathering taking place November 8th in Clay City, KY if anyone is interested. There should be a nice collection of folks from the tri-state area. Check out the National Events forum for all of the information. National Record Attempt and Race... .

I am all over the tri-state area, and I have yet to see another TDR member. I am across from Hidden Valley every day on Guard lane off of Hays Mckinney rd.

I would love to talk about mods, ect.

I am in the process of getting a shop set up to start working on dodges in the future, (also to work on my fleet of trucks too)

I have a tdr grill badge, and a tdr receiver cover on the truck.

The Cincinnati Chapter just seems to do camp outs several times a year at the same place - I am under the Impression that this is an older group, that drives stockers.

Lets get a more active group going
