"Did I get the other truck?" Do you mean did I buy another truck? I haven't bought one yet. If you know anyone with a good clean, lower mileage Dodge, 1 ton 4x4 Cummins, 5 or six speed let me know:D The bug has hit me again. I'd like to pick up a new one with the Cummins 600 but don't think I can afford it.

What did Josh do to that truck's engine besides fixing the gear case? Is the pump stock? Did he leave my turbo on it? I had it running pretty good, It would pull ~30# of boost and the pyro would never go over 1100*. I miss that old beast a little. Is he going to do any truck pulling with it? Another one will make me happy again:) Just need to decide whether to buy used or new.

i will find out all that was done to motor for you. should be easy to find a truck in marietta. freind of mine buys at the detroit auction and sends quite a few of them to a lot in marietta i will ask him the name of the lot tommorow i run some for him in the winter months and know he sends 4or5 a month down that way. So if you find one on a lot pm me and i will see if it is one of his he buys for a bunch of lots down there.

Woodsrat:

I would be willing to bet that it's Pottmeyer's lot. His trucks have higher miles on them and still seem to bring a hefty price:( I've got a lead on a new 04 Chevy Duramax that might be a decent deal. I need to think about it for a few days though.

I'm going to stick with looking for a used Dodge/Cummins, the D-Max deal isn't going to be economical for me. If you can come across some good used Dodges Woodsrat, let me know.

have you looked on ebay?? Type in dodge cummins, there are all kinds and prices on there. I'll call my buddy tommorow and see if he has any coming from detroit this week.

Seen in Columbiana at 4:42pm, a red first gen 4x4 straight piped, and he was given her the juice. Whoever it is, souonds great. I was fueling at the Marathon on right by the town circle.

I just purchased a nice 2001 2500 4x4 reg cab, Cummins/auto. It has 80K on the odometer but is in great shape. Is your truck an auto or stick?

mines a 5 speed. just got gauages and injectors ordered puttin them in after christmas. hopefully we can get some things rolling around here this summer. congrats on the new truck.

ok i admit it, i live in an apparent cummins "vacuum". if there are any here, i just don't see many of them. so the city of strongsville has one but that doesn't really count. there are so many ram pickups that are gassers, my wife says "stop looking at those trucks and drive. " i travel around berea, strongsville, maple heights, bedford, stow, hinckley, hudson occasionally. where is everybody?

how about Ron Kohl ? where are you ron? i know you are in strongsville somewhere. got that picture of your truck in the TDR magazine. i have been reading and enjoying your writing in American Machinist for years. My shop is Instrumentors, Inc. on Drake Road. i'll buy you lunch if you stop by.

finally saw a silver dually in ledgewood today. first it was behind me and then after leaving the place i was visiting, it passed me. thats when i knew it was a CTD. My TDR sticker is on the rear window behind the left head rest.

Hey Vince!

We are set for Saturday, Feb. 7 2004 at Hutter performance in Chardon.

From 8:00 am to about 5:00 depending on turn-out. Snow, rain, sleet, shine, we're running regardless of the weather.

$65 for 3 runs, cash or check. Duallies will fit, height limited to 8' (8'-4" high ceiling. )

This is just a fun, test & tune, run and get some numbers kind of get-together. No fancy awards for high numbers, etc. like some other Dyno Days.

Directions: Hutter performance is located on the North side of Rt 6, across from Dairy Mart, about . 75 miles East of Chardon Square.

Spotted: Dark Grey CTD with TDR badges sitting in the parking lot at the "Shoe" at OSU in Columbus. I see the truck almost everytime I go by the parking lot
