Can anybody interpret this for me? First time I sampled... 100500 on the engine, 9000 on the oil with a filter change at 5k.

It says everything is ok, but I wouldn't know different.

Is that iron number a little high? How 'bout the moly?

Schaeffers 7000 15W-40 synthetic. Don't know exact specs on it, just that I get it for real cheap, so it's the only logical way to go.

The Schaffeurs has a pretty high amount of Moly in it so it is not surprising to see a good amount of Moly on the oil analysis.

Personally at 9k miles I don't think a bypass is a necessity. IMHO the oil analysis does not warrant the use of a bypass either.

9k on a oil drain is perfectly fine as long as the data comes back and verifies a servicable condtion for the oil at that point. Some TDR members are going between 10-15k between changes (verifed by analysis) and are good to go.

Don't know about you guys but to me his Iron #'s up there. The highest Iron content I've ever recieved back on a report is 18ppm. Aluminum on his report is higher than I've see as well. The highest I've ever seen on my truck on Aluminum is 3.
