Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Oil analysis ???

Got my oil analysis back today and i have 1% diesel in the oil with only 1000 miles at the time of the sample. If i change my oil (15-40 rotella) every 8000 mile, doesn't this mean it would have 8% diesel in the oil? I have be told that 3% is the max you want? 110000 miles on the truck

I had 1% in mine as well, 5k miles though. Not sure what the cause would be... worn rings?

it could be extended idling with cylinder temps too low. Turn on an exhaust brake or high-idle.
