Ist of all I love this site!! But I always here of AIMS Oil, I'm familiar with the oil but has anyone ever heard of Shaffer's oil. It has alot of the same things as Ams oil. Me and my dad have been using Shaffer's for over ten years. At 80k miles on a cheby cavaliar 4 banger I had to replace a head gasket. To my and my mechanics surpries you could still see the hone marks in the cylinder walls, there were no mesurable wear there after 80k

. I'm a believer in Shaffer's, has anyone had the same experience with ams oil? Can anyone convince me to switch?
P. S. look over my spelling, as my wife would say I'm a man. Shaffer's is used in the industrial industry and has been around since the 1800's. Thanks all!
