I have a 99 2500. When I stop and turn the truck off I notice a good amount of oil leaking onto my driveway. Its leaking off of the hogs head but it appears to be coming out of the vent tube on the front of the engine. It also appears that it is leaking while I am driving down the road and then leaking off of the hogs head when I stop. I pulled a camper this past week and that seemed to make it worse. Can anyone tell me what is causing this, is it a hidden problem? Thanks

How's the oil level? Do you have alot of mods? Have high mileage? Does it seem like your oil pan is being significantly pressurized?

Yeah, the front axle. It appears the oil is blowing out of the vent tube onto the front axle as i am going down the road and then dripping off of that when i stop and park

test your vacuum pump. lot of guys say that causes blow by when its failing

good place to start, I had similar problems when I accidently knocked the vacuum line loose. check the big line first right off the top of the pump for cracks or leaks, then maybe check the pump. I don't know what it should pull, someone on here will though.
