My pickup always has a little bit of smog i gues you could say coming from my breather tube and after shut off oil will actually drip down and cause oil spots. Is this normal?

No worries. A little visible vapor and a drip or two is normal. Shouldn't drip enough to form a puddle, but it will put oil spots where you park. A healthy engine should not be puffing out big clouds of vapo. Many CTD owner put a catch bottle on the end of the tube to catch the drips and dump it when they change oil.

Mine doesn't drip. The concrete is clean under my truck since I replaced a couple of seals.

As long as you aren't leaving a small puddle, you should be fine. A few drips are normal.

If you put a bottle on the end of the tube, make sure to extend the end of it with a hose before attaching the bottle. Don't want the fan throwing the oil around and into the radiator fins.

I cannot seem to find my hose. I've looked all over. Has it maybe fallen off? anyone have a picture of where it should be exactly? thanks

It should be pretty much flush up against the driver's side of your block Mine terminates just behing my axle tube about halfway down the oil pan.

hmmm, I'll check again but have not seen it there. I would think that if that is where it is, I would've seen it. where does it originate from?

I noticed mine was “not there” one day and went looking for it. I found mine had broken off up near the elbow on the side of the block. This is all that was left.

found it! but it's not really there. Stuck my hand in there behind the fuel filter and felt the elbow off the block. I guess it probably looks like the picture that was posted. I know what I need to do now though.
