Yes. I’ve been seeing 5Q jugs too, but it’s usually that newer spec oil, like for the eco diesel. I hope he put the right stuff in.
 
As a side note: if it is only 2 quarts over don't worry about it, mine made that much in un-burned fuel in 4800 miles before I deleted. Now, no worries.

Good point! A little fuel dilution in less than 5000 miles doesn't mean you have a fuel injector problem.

My 8.2% fuel dilution in 3600+ miles would have been approximately 1 quart of fuel dilution. It showed kinematic viscosity of 12.2 @ 100°C IIRC. Which is just on the upper viscosity limit of a 30w.

I would be concerned about 2 quarts of fuel in oil tho. Because that would be 16-17% fuel dilution and your hot oil will be less than 30 weight (closer to SAE 25 weight) viscosity. And that would be the wrong weight for a diesel no matter how heavy or light you load it.
