Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have an EZ (level 3) and afe (air filter only). I was talking with a guy this weekend who worked on diesel engines for 20+ years although he's not working with the newer ones. He was shocked when I told him that the severe duty oil change interval was 7500 miles. He said that since I have the EZ I should be changing my oil far more frequently than 7500 miles. I usually change it at 5k but am going 7500 this time to do an oil analysis.
That made me wonder how often people are changing their oil in bombed trucks. Should I be changing my oil more frequently with the EZ? What are others doing who have bombed their trucks?
