I use Herguth Labs in Vallejo, CA. They charge $29. 00 and can send sample kit if required. I purchase travel size bottles in packs of four at Walgreens for less than $2. 00.

Oil Change and Fuel Dilution

Unless you decide to lose some of the emissions equipment, get used to fuel in your oil... . it is a result of "Regeneration". Cummins says the dilution rate is not harmful up to 5%. I don't like it, but my 08 Mega 4x4 has run anywhere from 3% to 5% on every oil analysis by Blackstone labs. I now have almost 26,000 miles and I change at 5K intervals..... I plan to lose the EGR & DPF when it rolls over on 36,000..... my gauges show a regen on an average of about 65-75 miles since I do a lot of city driving..... It will either be a Smarty or H&S when the time comes.
