Oil change

Is it just me.I just changed the oil for the first time what a pain in the A** . Their is a small access hole in the passenger fender well, which is the only to get the filter in and out. Does anyone know any tricks to getting the filter out without dumping old oil everywhere extracting it. the bottem is solid and top forget about it. 2014 3500 :{

The fender well is not the ONLY way to get the filter in & out.......oil filter removal & installation has been discussed several times here on TDR.

Jacknife, I too just changed the oil in my 13 and this time I did it from the top. The top is definitely the way to go. I removed the intake tube from the air box and the turbo. You have to use pliers to take the clamp off of the egr tube when I put the egr tube back on I used a worm drive hose clamp on it so it should be easier from here on out. The link and the write up that was in the magazine are both good.

First time I had oil everywhere this time I didn't spill a drop.

As long as I can have your "old" oil & filter.....I have a run to Coalgate, OK soon and I'll git-r-done.
