Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Oil Covered front driveshaft on used 98

I'm looking at a pickup to buy, 1998 24v automatic 4x4, it has been Professionaly detail by a large car dealer for this person. (Ya know everything from the gallons of armor all to the black paint on the undercaridge and springs)

The only thing that I see wrong is that there is oil residue on the front axel around the 4x4 disconnect. I cant tell where it would be coming from unless its from the oil filter, when changing, but everything up top was cleaned up by the dealer so i can't tell. I'm new to the 24v's and would appreciate any info on any other problems as to where this oil is coming from.

PS - the oil is only around the CAD box, but coming from above, the pan is also damp. smaller leak though

Is it near the vent breather? Could be that.
