I turned my oil pan sump around to the front. With the dipstick in the back of the block is now useless. There are three locations for the dipstick tube in the block. The other two are plugged. I can't tell if these plugs are screwed in or pressed in. Will be using the front hole for the tube. Anybody know how to get the plug out? I want to remove the plug and put it in the rear hole, so drilling it is out. If I can avoid it!
Did you know the pans are symetrical? The oil pickup tube has to be changed but turning the pan around is a no brainer.
ANybody do this before.
