I am putting a 1st gen Cummins in my Suburban and recently purchased a new HX35W Turbo to go with it. The problem is that the oil feed line won't fit. I am wondering if there is an adapter, or a part # for a new line that will fit the turbo and still connect to the motor.

Adaptor, Cummins part # 3919687. Mopar part # 4638939. Was your 91 engine intercooled from the factory? If so it should already have this adaptor.

The adapter should be in the old turbo if the engine was originally intercooled. I got mine from the dealer. Just ask for a blowup of the parts and it should be on ther little screen. Or use Bill's part number, I guess that might be easier. The part is the same for the h1c and hx35 I believe but the baby h1c that came on the non intercooled trucks does not have it.

It was intercooled from the factory

I have the oil feed line but the bolt on the top of the HX35 is smaller than the feedline off the motor. I just don't want to get one that fits the turb but not the motor and have two that don't fit.

I went from a baby H1C to HX35 and took the adaptor out of the H1C and put it in the HX35. I'd recommend a new o-ring to go with it.
