Oil filler cap

Help,

My oil filler cap will not come off! It just seems to "ratchett" (both directions) and not come off. I am going to wait and let it cool down and try it again, but what if it does not come off? Big hammer?

Thats a new one on me, never heard of that happening.

I guess if all else fails you may have to pull the valve cover.

2 pair of channel locks. one for the cap. one for the pipe. good luck.

Had a "98" Stratus that did the same thing. Just let it cool down and the cap worked like it was suppose to.
