So, is it okay for Diesel or not?

I believe the dodge filter is a 1-12 thread, so even though it "says" it would work, it wouldn't (and besides it would half your filter size!).

If it was hard to change the filter I might consider relocating it but I find it quite easy at the stock location.

You can get an oil filter relocation kit from Amsoil to properly fit your truck. Their filter kits are well constructed, good quality kits. I ran their oil bypass filter until I recently installed compound turbos and needed to move it from where I located it. I installed their dual remote oil filter kit, moved my stock filter and put the bypass with it in one neat package together.

Try contacting that company for more information. It doesn't look like it would be right for your truck.

No

Could that mean not to be used for diesel fuel?

My point was, it says not for use with diesels, then down below it lists diesel applications. Go figure.

I got an email from an Amsoil dealer telling me there is no Amsoil relocation kit anymore. I can get to the filter okay in stock location, but always get oil on me, the frame, the floor (when the wind is blowing, it won't drip down, but drops get blown all over), etc. No matter how long I let the pan drain and drip, there is always oil over-flowing the filter as soon as I loosen it. I have a quick-drain plug/hose I got from Geno's garage to solve the oil pan draining mess, but looking to eliminate oil mess from the filter.

Amsoil dual relocation kit is their P/N BMK 25. They still offer a single kit to just move the oil filter, you can go to their site and look it up yourself.

If you spill oil ever where, have you tried putting a plastic bag over the oil filter before you unscrew it? I saw a post about the plastic bag on this site sometime in the past. It works for me.

the diesel applications are in RED. not sutable for diesel engines. those adapters are too small in capasity for a cummins engine.

I let the oil drain for AT LEAST 1 hour, and sometimes overnight. loosten the filter and NO oil comes out of the filter. the oil will be down in the filter as far as the threaded nipple sticks into the filter. the same thing happens on my ams-oil by-pass filter. usually I drain the oil pan on a hot engine in the evening, leave the plug out over night, and change the filters early the next morning, and NO oil spills out of either filter. this works on my `06 5. 9 and my `92 12v 5. 9. don`t be in such a hurry to make a mess with your filter. give gravity and the syphon effect time to work. it`s cheap and effective. :-laf
