Bride and I had an out of body experience, today. Changed the filter on the Cummins 5.9, and never spilled a drop. She plucks the old from above after I loosen from the bottom. She fills the new with oil, lowers it to my hand from underside, and I screw it on. Not a Drop! Of course, we're married 53 years, so this could be dangerous grounds for newlyweds.

My wife helps me when I need help. She has helped me change the transmission in my Roadrunner a few times. Just rebuilt the top end on a VW diesel and she was under the hood with me as I needed extra hands. Great lady.

Roadrunner, huh? Nice. We managed to bring back a Demon and she helped so much. I have a picture of her installing a bolt which my hand could not grasp between the fire wall and bell housing. I named the photo "A damned good woman". Installing the headers was the ultimate test!

We also have a 65 Chevy C10 long step side. My dad bought it new. When I restored it the wife did a lot of sanding and turning wrenches on it too. Some of us are just lucky to have a wife that don't mind getting a little dirty.

My wife will help whenever I need it......she doesn't really like it, but I do all the work on her car too and have for years so she likes the money savings.

We have only been married 6 months!
