oil filters on backorder????

Did you ask about the Stratapore or the regular filters? One or the other might be available. I went to Stratapore after reading John Martin's article on filters a few issues back.

i like genos,buy from them,but i also use donalson filters and i get them from a site called filtermaxx.com,good prices and good filters.

I know this is not a 3rd Generation part but it does relate to Fleetguard and I found it kind of curious. About a month ago I went to the Cummins Filtration - Catalog - Part # Search website to get some tech info on the AF 25541 air filter ('94-'02 Dodge CTD's). After typing in the part number this came up in the Description box - "This product is not currently available in our product line,.." I called the Cummins Filtration customer service department and asked about it. She said that that part number and several other Fleetguard numbers had been turned over to Kuss Filtration (?) in Findlay, OH. She gave me their number and suggested that I should call them. I did call them several times but was not able to talk with anyone. I finally stopped pursuing it.

This is a problem with brand identity, especially in recent years. Identify with a brand and have strong or blind allegiance to them? I find it hard to deal with.

I only use the stratapore, that was the filter kit that i bought..came with 4 filters and 2 fuel and air cleaner

guess it was the fuel filters that were on back order...they have a pallet full of them now and the order shipped....

Many of FLG filters are now sold by Kuss. When we order them in they are FLG with a Kuss label on them ( over top of the FLG label ) and still have the FLG p/n on them as well. The price went down in a lot of cases. David
