fuel in oil ?

My dad has a 05 and we do all the maint to it and we change the oil and put in 12qts well when we check it later 20 to 30 hours of run time ( oil changed every 100 to 120 hrs) it is about half an inch above the full line after sittting all night the oil has no fuel smell but he has had 2 injectors replaced already and we are wondering if thier is another bad one

a fast way to see if theres fuel in the oil is to drip some oil on a piece of paper if there is an obvious ring around the oil there is fuel in there

Just keep checking it. If it is leaking if will fill the crankcase up pretty quick. It was probly just because it sat overnight and everything ran to the bottom.

Depending on the year of the vehicle, like my 02, It only takes 11 qts of oil. Plus, when you drain the oil, there is ALWAYS some left in the motor. Not sure how much, but there is some. So it figures that if you add 12 qts, and there is a half qt. still in the motor, you could feasibly be a half qt. over.
