What up with the new call sign Gene????

Mine never leaked until the KDP let go... :{ It is now leak free again:D :D

You left out a catagory Sled Driver. You forgot:

1. My truck never leaked until I added Amsoil to the engine and transfer case.

Can you add that one for me? Or maybe...

2. My truck only leaked when using Amsoil and the daul by-pass filter system hoses, filter adapter and filter base.

you guys are going to get yourselves BANNED. if you dont lay off

and i would actually miss you bafoons. LOL

Mine does not leak or drip, just blows oil out of that funny little pill bottle, even if I empty it after an oil change. :)

How about this poll:

1) Mine leaked since new with synthetic.

2) Mine leaked after 1000 miles with synthetic.

3) Mine leaked after 2000 miles with synthetic.

4) Mine leaked after 3000 miles with synthetic.

5) ...

end of poll

When I installed Amsoil it leaked at the adapter on the motor for the BMK-15. Bought the CPFF adapter and fixed that. . great product. #ad

klenger,

Your truck had synthetic from the factory??

I always tell people to run them in for a while before the switch-to avoid these types of problems.

I really expected to have more leakers vote, syn or dino, does not matter, from the amount of complaining I have seen on other threads.

Gene

I think this poll says something for Dodge seals, I did not expect that kind of response.

Sometimes, we get so used to reading complaints, we forget that are trucks are just pretty good machines, all things considered.

Gene

Sled Puller,

your synthetic oils got a bloody nose on this poll. The synthetics that dont cause leaks. Maybe in a majority of cases they do not.

I did have leaks and did not have bad seals and did not change seals and muck 'em up. I was just one of the minority in this case.

Of course not the small minority, because over twice as many had leaks after using syntheitcs that did not.

Don~

"My truck seeped, and leaked worse after changing to synthetic"

I think not Don.

Synthetic advocates have stated time and a again that if you HAVE a leak, it WILL leak worse with synthetics.

Fix the leaks before you put good oil in.

Sorry, this little poll is doing just fine, finding out how many have leaks.

Oh, and from the "0" up above, I believe you have not voted yet, maybe you did not read all the categorys?

Once again, your statements are misleading, and you try to "create' a bloody nose, when, in fact, no blood is present.

I do use good oil. I used an oil once that caused some leaks and would now have a hard time callin it good after the leaks it caused. I had a 22 year chemist from Exxon explain to me how oils of certain brands can cause leaks from high levels of nitrogen compounds present from the additive packages. He now works for another outfit up in your neck of the woods. Please feel free to contact him and he can explain the leaks from synthetics and how they get started. Its not always from marginal seals. Most of the time it is. In my case the seals were not marginal to the best of my knowledge. Im real religious about looking for any leaking going on and think I would have found it.

My category was not present in the poll. How about one like "My truck did not leak until I installed synthetic oil in it. "

Don~

I will give you a free bone to chew if you give me one too.

Give me your credentials as an expert in oil related topics. What training do you have as an expert to state that my seals could not have leaked or been caused to leak from using Amsoil?

I will contact him and ask if hew is interested in arguing this topic with you over oil in the meantime.

Don~

I thought this was an honest poll until I started reading. I tell ya, I am so tired of the Amsoil Salesmen trying to manipulate things. It makes me think Amsoil is a CULT or something!
