Oo. I just found an old tsb for oil leaking from fitting in the side of the p7100 pump,it always looked like the oil pressure sender was leaking, but after reading this tsb from 1995 it became evident that i needed to look higher up the engine and sure enough i finally spotted the source exactly as stated in the tsb. this little fitting from mopar costs like under two dollars! Now if i could just figure out where the other oil leak on the front of the engine is! Oo.

the tsb came out june 7 1996,the number is tsb 09-07-96,its for oil seepage from the oil line fitting to the pump, makes you swear that the oil pressure switch is the source, thats just where it collects, the leak actually comes from the oil supply bushing on the pump. The repair kit is 4874879 from your dodge dealer, its an easy repair, much better that the way it was oe. Hope this helps, tim

Does the tsb come with any pics, or can someone help out with exactly where/what to look for. Been fighting a leak for a while now.

Scott

no pictures, but if you clean off your oil fitting at the pump with some cleaner and dry off,run your engine and watch that area.
